Lab Business
- Cheng is drinking ranch dressing again
- UCARE: Zach, A-a-ron, and Mei Grace will have to chat tomorrow to decide whether they'll need to fight to the death for UCARE spots
- NSF Grant (was sent in last year, with dudes in Comp Sci and Engineering)... we're gonna try to resumbit in 2 months. It's about deep learning and neuroimaging. Pretty heavy computer science stuff.
- Friday writing sessions with Cheng and Matt picking up in coming weeks ("Friting") for the grant and such
- Interview weekend
- Lots of stuff going on this weekend mostly at a church somewhere
- Coordinating who fetches candidate from airport (Matt or Cheng, they'll hash out later)
- Dinner at Hopcat on Thursday, NOT Harry's Wonder Bar thanks Jo, at about 7/7:30ish
- Apparently Yia Yia's had some hella health code violations so be warned
- Stuff going on on Friday starting at like 9:30, not much on Saturday except Saturday night potluck
- Sunday transport still needs to be figured out
- Reference Managers is the next topic after Lauren. Group discussion, perhaps using Zach to spearhead
