- Mendeley: Cheng hates bc the autopopulation feature doesn't always work right
- Zotero: good at renaming pdfs, but the on-computer storage is in really badly named folders says Cheng
- has better interface than Mendeley for editing info yourself

ReadCube (has now bought Papers, apparently)
- Many refmans have a word plug-in so you can drag references in and it will automatically keep things correct for you
- Endnote probably is better now than when Matt used it, we assume
- Some managers have ability to create your own tags for references and annotate inside the program
- Good for auto-generating bibliographies and citations
